One more militant has been killed in the gunfight between militants and the government forces in Viddy Srigufwara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday morning, taking the toll of killed militants to two.

An unnamed official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that two militants have been killed while as the search operation is on in the area.

Earlier, KNO had reported that a joint team of the police, the army’s 3 Rashtriya Rifles, and Central Reserve Police Force launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile, the internet services have been snapped in Anantnag district. (KNO)
