Srinagar: District administration Kupwara on Saturday warned of stringent action against educational institutions including schools, coaching centers and Madrasas for remaining open in violation of government’s orders calling for their closure till March 31 in wake of Coronavirus threat.

“Govt has already ordered that all the institutions including Govt/Private/ remain closed up to 31/03/20. Inspite of strict directions, some private institutions/Coaching Centers/Madrassas are still functioning. District Administration has taken a serious note of it. Henceforth in future, if any one found violating the Order, registration of the said institution will be cancelled and action will be taken against the owner of institution as per rule,” reads an order issued by CEO Kupwara.
