Srinagar: A patient of COVID-19 has died at Jehlum Valley Hospital, Sher-i-Kashmir Institutue of Medical Science, in Srinagar on Friday.

Now, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to five; among them, four have died in Kashmir, while one in Udhampur.

Medical Superintendent, JVC SKIMS, Bemina, Dr. Shafia Deval, told that a COVID-19 patient, who was admitted in the hospital after he was declared positive, died this afternoon.

“An elderly man from north Kashmir was admitted in our hospital on 2 April and today he died,” she said. (KNT)
