Officials in Bihar’s Gaya were left baffled when they received a bizarre application for a caste certificate, reported Times Now.

A dog named ‘Tommy’ applied for a caste certificate in Bihar. If that is not enough to make you roll your eyes, Tommy also has its own Aadhaar card.

The application for Tommy’s caste certificate was submitted online at the Guraru Zonal office.

The Aadhaar card had a picture of a dog. Tommy’s father’s name was mentioned as Sheru and his mother is named Ginni. The Aadhaar card mentioned Tommy’s date of birth to be 14 April 2022. The address was mentioned as village Pandepokhar, Panchayat Rauna, ward number 13, circle Guraru and police station Konch.

The Aadhaar card also reads, “Aadhaar – aam kutta ka adhikaar.”
A photo of Tommy’s Aadhar card has gone viral on social media.

Circle Officer of Guraru block Sanjeev Kumar Trivedi said that the phone number mentioned on the application shows the name of Raja Babu on Truecaller.

The officials rejected the application and police are investigating the incident to nab the miscreant behind the prank. (PTI)
