Jammu and Kashmir reported 166 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest single-day count in 47 days, even as there was no death due to the virus, officials said on Saturday.
They said 103 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 63 from Kashmir Division, taking the overall tally to 452155.
There was no death either from Jammu or Kashmir in the last 24 hours, they said.
So far, 4746 persons have succumbed to the virus, 2324 in Jammu and 2422 in Kashmir.
Besides, they said, 469 Covid-19 patients, 242 from Jammu and 227 from Valley, recovered during the time.
Meanwhile, 444646 people have recovered, leaving the active case tally at 2294, 1168 in Jammu and 1126 in Kashmir.
They said there was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today.
Also, 51 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials said.
They also informed that 23670 doses of covid-19 vaccine were administered during the time in J&K.
