Sources told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that some unknown persons stabbed Najmu Sakib Dar, son of Abdul Rashid Dar of Chinkral Mohalla Habba Kadal Srinagar.
Srinagar: Unknown persons on Monday evening stabbed and injured a youth in Chinkral Mohalla area of Habba Kadal area of Srinagar district.
They added that Sakib has received injury on the back and left side of the thigh.
Meanwhile, an official said that a team of concerned police station has reached the spot and shifted the injured to SMHS Hospital for treatment, however, the attackers fled from the spot.
He said that police have taken cognizance of the matter and has started the investigation.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent SMHS Hospital, Dr Nazir Choudhary said that the condition of the injured is stable as of now. (KNO)
