Family members of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Cobra Commando, who is missing after Bijapur Maoists gunfight in Chattisgarh on Monday appealed to the Government of India to undertake all necessary steps to ensure their son’s safe return.
As per a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), R S Manhas, a CRPF personnel, who hails from Jammu and was presently posted in Cobra Commando wing of CRPF in Bijapur, went missing during an Anti-Maoists Operation in Bijapur in Chattisgarh.
Manhas’s family members said that their son is missing and this is the only thing they have been told so far by the authorities.
“We are very much hopeful that our son is alive and fine,” said the members of the family. They appealed to the Government of India to take steps for the safe return of their son.
“We want our son and that too alive,” said members of the family of missing CRPF Commando while speaking to media men in Jammu. (KNO)
