Srinagar: A woman sustained injuries in Ceasefire Violation by the Pakistani army in Kirni-sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, a local news gathering agency quoting unnamed officials reported.

A defence official said that Pakistani army resorted to unprovoked CFV in Qasba-Kirni sector of Poonch district by firing small arms and other weapons. “A woman sustained injuries after she was hit by a splinter at her house in Qasba village,” he told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

The injured woman was identified as Hameeda Begum aged 40 years, wife of Ghulam Mohiudin, resident of Qasba village of Poonch. “Intermittent exchange of firing was on between the armies of India and Pakistan,” an official said—(KNO)
