A woman ended her life by allegedly hanging herself in Khansahab area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A police official said that a woman (name withheld) married to one Shabir Ahmed of Debipora Khansahab was found hanging in her room.
The woman was declared dead by the doctors on arrival at the Sub-District Hospital Khansahab.
Police have taken possession of the body which will be handed over to the next of her kin after the postmortem.
A case in this regard has been registered. (KNT)
