Watch| ‘High vegetable prices’ vendors put onus on less production

Amid the heavy snowfall in Kashmir, the rates of vegetables are sky-rocketing as farmers and vegetable vendors believe that the production of vegetables in the region has reduced in the past few years due to use of agricultural land for the non-agricultural purpose. They said the less production of vegetables in the region has increased dependency on imports which is impacting the price rates.
