Awami National Conference (ANC) workers on Thursday held a protest at Press Enclave Srinagar against the Delimitation proposal and real estate summit.
The protest was led by ANC vice president Muzaffar Shah. He said that the delimitation proposal that recommends, one assembly constituency for the Kashmir division while six for Jammu, is unacceptable and accused that the ‘real estate summit’ that was held in Jammu last month was aimed to sell the region to the corporate world.
He also demanded that the pre-August position of Jammu and Kashmir should be restored. Reported by Umer Asif
