The family of the two slain killed in Hyderpora controversial gunfight rebut the claim of the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is investigating the case, that Altaf Ahmad Bhat was made human shield by a foreign militant and Mudasir was involved in harboring militants.
The families said that they had no hopes on the police investigation, “if it would have been a judicial inquiry, our hopes would have been high,” said the wife of slain Dr. Mudasir Gul. Families raised questions that when there were thousands of troopers guarding the building [in which alleged gunfight took place] why could not they save them (slain).
