Srinagar: Vehicular traffic movement remains halted after a landslide occurred in the Sonamarg area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district this afternoon.
A local news agency reported that a landslide occurred near Sonamarg Bye-pass, bringing an abrupt halt to the traffic on both sides.
Despite a few hours into the occurrence, nobody had reached the site to clear the road of the debris, sources told GNS, adding dozens of vehicles as such remain stranded along the road. (GNS)
