An unidentified militant was killed when militants attacked the house of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker in Nunar area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, police said Tuesday.

Kashmir police tweeted on its official twitter handle that militants fired at one BJP worker at Nunar in Ganderbal. “He is safe however, his one PSO sustained injuries in the incident. One unidentified militant killed in PSO’s retaliation.”

Unidentified officials told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the militants attacked the hosue of BJP worker Ghulam Qadir at Nunar, but PSO’s timely retaliation resulted in the killing of one militant in the exchange of fire. (KNO)
