On the eve of 15 August function, a suspicious bag near a police post triggered a bomb scare in the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday.
News agency – Kashmir News Observer (KNO) quoted official sources saying that an unattended bag was found near a police check post in Satwari, a few meters away from Jammu Airport and sensitive Air Force Station, Jammu, which recently saw first of its kind drone attacks.
The black colour bag, the one used for laptops, having airline tags, was found on the roadside. Police teams who are already extra alert informed the bomb disposal squad, the news agency reported.
Ahead of 15 August, militant related activities have increased across Jammu and Kashmir.
