A trooper shot himself dead after firing a bullet into his head using his service rifle in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The trooper died on the spot.
A local news gathering agency Kashmir News Trust quoting official sources told reported that the trooper was posted at 59 Medium Regiment in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
He has been identified as Parveen Kumar.
Police in this regard has registered a case in taken up investigation. (KNT)
