Srinagar: One unidentified militant has been killed in the on going gunfight in Tral area of south Kashmir, police said.
The Jammu and Kashmir police on Friday morning tweeted that one unidentified militant was killed while the operation was on.
Gunfight raged early morning between militants and government in Naibugh Tral area of South Kashmir’s Awantipora.
Reports sais that a joint team of Police and army’s 42RR launched a cordon and search operation in Tral.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off an gunfight.
