Srinagar :Police on Tuesday claimed to have prevented three youth from taking “violent path” in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

In a statement, the police said that Bandipora Police along with 52 Rashtriya Rifles of army upon a reliable information apprehended three local Teenagers of Sumbal area who were indoctrinated and influenced by false narratives and motivated to take violent path.

They further said that, after proper counselling and guidance they were handed over to their parents in presence of respectable citizens.

Bandipora police appeals parents to take proper care of their wards and monitor their activities , so that they don’t fall prey to anti national elements, the statement reads.(GNS)
