Srinagar: A school administrator was detained in connection with a molestation allegation in a Srinagar area on Tuesday.
The Srinagar police detained Shabir Ahmad Mir, the son of Ghulam Rasool Mir, who is the principal of the government-run Higher Senior Secondary, Gund Hassi Bhat, and was detained in connection with a molestation complaint.
He continued by saying that FIR No. 31/2023 U/s 354D, 294 & 506 of the IPC had been filed at Shalteng PS and that the additional inquiry had been launched.
“Shabir Ahmad Mir, a principal at the government-run HSS Gund Hassi Bhat in Srinagar and the son of Gh Rasool Mir, was detained in a case of molestation. At Shalteng PS, FIR no. 31/2023 U/s 354D, 294 & 506 of the IPC was lodged,” the Srinagar police tweeted.
