Keeping in view the rising cases of drug-addiction and narcotics peddling in district Srinagar, Srinagar Police has launched a dedicated helpline to elicit cooperation from general public by making them stakeholders in eradicating this menace from society.
This helpline will make Public equal stakeholders in this war against narcotics. Srinagar Police requests public to provide any available information related to drug Peddling, Narcotic trade and Drug addiction in Srinagar city in particular and kashmir in general.
Drug menace is one of the gravest challenges being faced by Srinagar city leading to the wastage of Human Resources of youth thus causing heavy toll on society as a whole.
Senior superintendent of police Srinagar, Rakesh Balwal-IPS said anyone who has any information about drug/narcotics related issues can contact at 9596770550 and send WhatsApp message, pics, videos as well.
This helpline will be open 24X7 and the identity of that person will be kept strictly confidential.
The helpline will be personally under supervision of SSP.
The information providers will also be awarded suitably, if the information proves to be genuine and leads to results.
