Ahead of 15 August government forces on Monday sealed Sopore’s old town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Talking with a local news agency, Kashmir Despatch SSP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma said that following inputs about the presence of militants in the area a cordon and search operation has been launched.

Locals reports said whole area has been sealed. Details Awaited.
