Government forces launched a massive operation in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday morning.
A joint team of army, CRPF and police launched the search operation in main town Sopore and sealed all entry and exit points leading towards the market, news agency KNO reported.
It quoted a senior police officer saying that the searches are being conducted on a “routine basis”.
As of now, the search operation is going on normally in the area, the officer said.
