A massive search operation was launched from Iqbal Market to Bus Stand road in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
A joint team of forces including Army, CRPF and police launched the search operation and sealed all entry and exit points leading towards the market, KNO reported. Forces searched shops, street vendors and pedestrians.
The news agency quoted a top police officer as saying that the searches were being conducted in the wake of 15 August.
Searches were also launched in many areas of Sopore including main chowk, main bazaar and tehsil road of the town.
