Search for missing Budgam man continues for third day, family fears drowning

Srinagar: Rescue team continues its search on 3rd day for Budgam man (68) who went missing on early morning of Friday.

According to family the man who on early Friday went as usual outside of his home carrying dustbin to dump alongside the river along with a fishing rod. As per the family he didnt return on that day, the incident took place early 7:00 AM morning of Friday in Wathoora locality of central Kashmir’s Budgam District.

The family members fear that the man may have drowned in the Doodgangha river while fishing, as “footfrints” like marks were found visible at the spot site as well as fishing rod was also found near the incident site.

Today administration took the help of SDRF team as well as locals from several areas along with concern police Station joined the search operation.

The searches were going on at several places including at Kralapora, Wathoora and Manchowa to trace out body of said person.
