Srinagar: The residents of Reshipora Gawas of Kapran area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag on Sunday alleged that the army thrashed several people and vandalised the property during a nocturnal raid in the area and vandalised the property.
According to reports, after the incident locals hit the streets and protested against the harassment by the army and appealed District Commissioner Anantnag to intervene in the matter.
A local news quoted Commanding Officer (CO) of 19 RR saying that the allegations are baseless.
