Indian army has refuted the reports that it has conducted “pinpoint strikes” across the Line of Control, in Pakistan-administered-Kashmir, on Thursday.

“Reports of Indian Army’s action in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) across the Line of Control are fake,” said Indian Army Director General of Military Operations Lt Gen Paramjit Singh.

Earlier, Press Trust of India and a few broadcast channels had reported, quoting unidentified sources, that the Indian Army is carrying out “pinpoint strikes” on suspected militant launchpads inside Pakistan-administered-Kashmir in response to the Pakistani military’s unrelenting efforts to push a maximum number of militants into India before the onset of harsh winters.
