An unidentified militant has been killed in a fierce ongoing gunfight between government forces and militants in the Khaws Rajouri area of Jammu division.
Official sources said one militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight, however identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, a team of police, army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on a specific input in Khaws area after the presence of some militants.
As the joint team intensified the searches, the hiding militants fired upon the party, leading to a gunfight.
