The principal of a government school Panihad and also an in charge zonal education officer of Peeri education zone in Rajouri district died while on way to a school for routine visit and inspection on Saturday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that Rajesh Gupta, who was posted as principal government higher secondary school Panihad in Rajouri and was also holding additional charge of the post of Zonal Education Officer in Peeri, died while on way to a school for inspection.

He said that Gupta was on way to a school in Swari area for routine visit and inspection when he complained of uneasiness in the school and died.

When contacted block medical officer Kandi, Dr Iqbal Malik said that a team was on the spot and were ascertaining his actually cause of death—(KNO)
