National Conference vice president and former Chief Minister of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday.
“I’ve tested negative for COVID 18 days after first testing positive. Thankfully except for a blocked nose from day 9 onwards for a few days, I had no symptoms at all. I know a lot of people aren’t as lucky as I was & I’m deeply grateful for that,” Abdullah tweeted. He had tested positive for the virus on 9 April.
Earlier, Abdullah had tested negative after undergoing one test but he had later announced that after getting another report, he was still positive. He now has tested negative for the virus after eighteen days of infection.
