The government forces on Sunday claimed to have arrested an Over Ground Worker (OGW) and recovered a pistol, two grenades from his possession in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Officials said that an OGW identified as Yamin Yousuf Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat from Gadhama was arrested by government forces along with arms and ammunition.

“The recovery included pistol, two grenades and 51 rounds,” officials said.

They said the affiliation and involvement of the arrested militant associate is being ascertained. (KNO)
