Director Food department Kashmir Bashir Ahmed Thursday said that mutton crisis is over in Kashmir as new rates have been agreed upon by the mutton dealers and the government.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Director Food department Kashmir Bashir Ahmed said that mutton will be sold at Rs 535 per kg without offal and Rs 490 with offal.

“Formal order will be out by evening today,” he said, adding that all mutton shops must open across Kashmir as their is no confusion over rates now—(KNO)
