Body of 66-year-old man was found at Dandipora Kokernag area of south Kahsmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday evening, 13 days after he went missing.
An official said that body of Mohammad Shafi Awan son of Mohammad Abdullah Awan of Dandipora Kokernag was found in the nearby forest area in Dandipra Kokernag.
He said that Awan was missing since April 13.
A police official said that that the inquest proceedings have been launched to ascertain the cause of his death.
He said that the body was handed over to the family after completion of legal and medical formalities. (GNS)
