A militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight between militants and government forces in Tulibal area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A senior Police officer told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that so far one militant has been killed in ongoing operation in Sopore area.
He further added that on specific inputs about the presence of militants, searches operations were started at Tulibal Sopore. As militants fired upon search parties which was retaliated triggering a gunfight.
Pertinently, Kashmir has reported 16 gunfights in ongoing month in which 26 militants have been killed so far while 115 militants have been killed in ongoing year so far. (KNO)
