A pedestrian was killed in a road accident in the Tappar area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday afternoon.
An official told a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that a pedestrian was killed on the spot after being hit by a speedy four-wheeler near the Tappar area.
He identified him as Ghulam Qadir Malik of Dawlatpora village of Kreeri.
He said the body will be handed over to the family after the completion of medico-legal formalities.
“A case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up in this regard,” he said. (KNO)
