Srinagar : A speeding army vehicle fled from the spot after hitting a private car injuring the driver in Central Kashmir’s Kangan area of Ganderbal district.

A local news gathering agency Kashmir News Trust (KNT) reported that the incident occurred at Haknar Gund.

They said that one army vehicle that was the part of a Convoy on way to Sonmarg hit one Alto 800 Maruti (JK16-5434) with the result 32 year old driver namely Muhammad Akther Khatana son of Dilpazeer Khatana, resident of Surfraw Gund got injured and was brought to PHC Gund wherefrom doctors referred him to SDH Kangan for further treatment.

Sources said that the army vehicle fled from the spot while police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNT)
