Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday handed over the appointment letter to Suneeta Pandith, wife of Suneel Pandith, officials said.
Pandith, a resident of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, was shot dead by militants last year.
“The Lt Governor assured all possible assistance from the UT Administration to the family of the martyred civilian,” a spokesman of Raj Bhavan said.
“The family members of Suneel Pandith were also present at the Raj Bhawan.”
