At least ten sheep were killed and three were injured by a leopard late last night in Tareyain area of Gundi Gujrain village of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

The owner of the animals Lal Din son of Sitar Mohammad said that out of 43 sheeps, 10 were attacked and killed by leopard, besides three other were injured.

“I hope the authorities will come here to see for themselves what havoc the leopard has created and compensate me accordingly,” he said.(KNS)
