Zaroo Gun Factory is the one of the last surviving gunsmiths of Kashmir valley as many others have shut the business following a decades’ long decline in sales. The factory has been manufacturing guns for generations and these guns were mainly used for hunting purposes as well as for decorations. The ban on hunting and also, the situation over the past three decades, led to decline in the sales. This photo feature by Kashmir Walla’s Abrar Fayaz documents these last gunsmiths of Srinagar.
