Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar on Thrusday said that two LeT militants who killed an artist Amreen bhat are trapped in an ongoing encounter in south Kashmir’s Awantipora.
Kashmir Police Zone quoting IGP Kashmir wrote, “Both killers (LeT militants) of Late Amreen Bhat, an artist, trapped in Awantipora encounter. Further details shall follow.”
Pertinently, Amreen Bhat was killed yesterday outside her home in Hishroo Chadoora area of Budgam by militants.
IGP Kashmir had said that the LeT militants were behind the killing of the artist. (GNS)
