Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited all political parties across the country to participate in a meeting in New Delhi.
An official said that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited all major political parties in India including JKPDP and JKNC to participate in a meeting at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 16 January.
He said “The Election Commission of India (ECI) has developed a prototype to enable remote voting for migrant workers and students and called an all-party meeting on January 16 to demonstrate the technology designed to address low voter turnout and to seek feedback.”
The purpose is demonstration of EVMs & VVPATs being organised in New Delhi by ECI, he added. (KDC)
