Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to face a major setback in Kashmir Valley as many leaders, including some prominent faces, are actively considering their resignation from the party’s basic membership, reliable sources said.
They said that the development has came after a crucial meeting was held at a hotel in Srinagar few days before.
“The leaders have been actively considering their decision to leave the party cadre and may announce any time soon,” they said.
“An alliance on the lines of INDIA, formed by parties on national level is expected as the leaders may join other parties or form their own parties,” they said.
BJP’s J-K President Ravinder Raina is likely to skip a party meeting today. (GNS)
