On the eve of 15 August, government forces on Saturday claimed to have busted a module of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant outfit and arrested four militants in Jammu.

News agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) quoted Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu zone, Mukesh Singh saying that a JeM module has been busted.

“We have arrested four militants of this module,” he said.

ADGP said those arrested were planning collection of arms dropped through drones to be supplied to active militants of JeM in Kashmir.

He further claimed that the militants were planning to carry out a vehicle based Improvised Explosive Device (IED) attack in Jammu before 15 August and surveying important targets in other parts of the country.
