Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) has launched a Country Wide toll-free helpline for the students of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh regions to address students’ grievances.

In a Statement National spokesperson of Association, Nasir Kheuhami said that students of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh facing problems relating to their college campuses anywhere in the country can call on the toll-free number 18008919650, register their complaints and get their problems addressed.

He said that, this initiative is another major step by association for the welfare of Jammu and Kashmir Ladakh students. Students can lodge their grievances including those related to their campus or any other types of issues so that meaningful solution can be found with respective state governments and university authorities, he said.

Khuehami said that For students of Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh across the country, the Toll Free Number will be available 24×7. Students now can register their problems by dailing 18008919650, so that meaningful solution can be found with respective state govts, and university/ college authorities, he added.

Legal Advisor of Association Adv Mir Imran said that nearly 100 Volunteers will be assisting students who are applying for Undergraduate and post graduate courses in different colleges and Universities across the country. Volunteers will help in every matter of concern regarding the admissions through the official email and social media handles for every student as well.

This helpline will be manned by dedicated counsellors and grievance redressal attendants. We hope that this initiative of the association will emerge as the solution provider for students and will facilitate them in addressing their demands and problems and if they face any sort of harassment, he added.
