Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 144 fresh covid-19 cases while two persons succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said today.
According to local news gathering agency, among the fresh cases, 19 were reported from Jammu division and 125 from Kashmir, taking the overall tally to 334432.
There were two deaths, both from the Valley, due to the virus during the last 24 hours, officials said. So far 4455—2179 in Jammu and 2276 in Kashmir—have died due to the pathogen, they said.
Giving district wise details of the fresh cases, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 51 cases, Baramulla 21, Budgam 6, Pulwama 12, Kupwara 9, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 8, Ganderbal 16, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 13, Udhampur 2, Rajouri 1, Doda 1, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 2 and Reasi 0.
Moreover, 115 Covid-19 patients recovered during the time, 14 from Jammu Division and 101 from Kashmir, they said.(GNS)
