Srinagar: In view of heavy snowfall in Kashmir the judicial work at the Srinagar wing of the High Court of J-K and Ladakh will remain suspended today.

The order issued by Registrar General Sanjeev Gupta on behalf of the Chief Justice of the High Court reads, “In view of the prevailing situation in the Kashmir Valley that has arisen due to heavy snowfall. Hon’ble, the Chief Justice has been pleased to direct that the judicial work shall remain suspended for today (23.02.2022), in Srinagar wing of the High Court.”

Kashmir parts received fresh snowfall since late Tuesday evening, bringing down the mercury across the Valley.
