The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Friday ordered the constitution of boards to scrutinize and evaluate “objections, representations, and suggestions of various stakeholders made in respect of Draft Master Plans of Kashmir Division”.
The order was issued by the General Administration Department and stated that “in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Development Authority Rule, 1976, the sanction is accorded to the constitution of these boards”.
It said that the board will scrutinize and evaluate objections, representations, and suggestions of various stakeholders made in respect of Draft Master Plans of Kashmir Division.
Under this order, eight boards for master plans will be formed for Sopore, Kulgam, Anantnag, Bijbehara, Mattan, Pulwama, Kupwara, Bandipora, Qazigund, and Pattan.
The order further reads that the boards shall submit their recommendations and reports within a period of one month.
