Srinagar: The armies of India and Pakistan continued to exchange gunfire on Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector for the third consecutive day on Saturday.

It is pertinent to mention here that one house was gutted while seven others suffered partial damage due to Pakistan shelling on Friday evening.

Official sources told wire-service KNO that on Saturday afternoon, cross LoC firing started in Poonch sector due to which many villages including Qasba, Kirni and Shahpur got affected.

“Pakistan fired mortar shells landed in villages, leaving people in a state of panic,” they said.

However, intermittent firing was going on when the report was received.
