Srinagar: The armies of India and Pakistan once again exchanged gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district, officials said.

Officials told that ceasefire violation have once again started in Tarkundi and Balakote forward areas of Rajouri and Mendhar respectively.

They said that on Tuesday evening at around 9:20 pm, ceasefire violation started in Tarkundi Gali as well as Balakote area. “A number of forward LoC locations in both these areas came under intense firing,” they said.

“Both small arms fire as well as mortar shelling is going on in the area,” officials added.

However, there was no report of any injuries or loss of life. (KNO)
