Inspector General of police Kashmir Vijay Kumar today said that 51 percent of the militants killed in the current year, were slain within 3 months of joining the militancy.
In a tweet IGP said that due to enhanced human, technical intelligence and focused operations, the surviving rate of militants is drastically decreasing.
“Out of 62 militants killed so far in the current year, 32 militants were killed within just three months of joining militant ranks,” IGP added.
He also added that 47 militants out of 62 were local.
