Srinagar: A gunfight broke out between government forces and militants at Chrar-i-Sharief area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Saturday evening, police said.
In a tweet police said: “#Encounter has started at Chrar-i-Sharief area of #Budgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier, gunfight broke out in Naira village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
